The Company:
bestchance is an independent, not-for-profit organisation providing education and support services to children and families since 1895. We are also a Registered Training Organisation, offering nationally recognised accredited training to the wider community. We believe in taking an innovative and holistic approach to our service delivery and are committed to reflective practice and ongoing quality improvement.


The Role:
bestchance is currently seeking an exceptional individual with a positive, collaborative and can-do approach, to join our dedicated training team. Based in Glen Waverley you will provide support to our adult students in order to strengthen their opportunities for practical placement and employment outcomes post-study.


Key Responsibilities:
Support students in terms of career pathways, maximising their potential to obtain employment after studying.

• Build upon and maintain our bestconnect database of work placement organisations and support students in obtaining placements.
• Actively engage with industry and community stakeholders, such as child care centres, kindergartens, schools and allied health facilities, to build relationships and increase opportunities for our students to attain employment.
• Manage a range of non-accredited training programs
• Liaise with Training staff and facilitate student evaluations
• Follow up with past students to track their employment outcomes.
• Manage events for students and workshops for the broader community.
• Project manage a variety of initiatives to enhance employment opportunities and increase brand awareness.


The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, enthusiastic relationship builder!

Ideally you will have:
• Minimum 2 years customer service, account management or project management experience
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• High level of personal integrity, exercising discretion and empathy with student’s needs
• Experience working with a diverse range of cultures and nationalities
• Proven success in building and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to work autonomously and hold yourself accountable
• A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Current Drivers Licence.
